A mechanical engineer. Alexander participated in the creation of Burlak and its predecessors, Makar and Shuttle all-terrain vehicles. In 2014, he joined Alexey Makarov in an expedition to the Manpupunyor Mountain in the Northern Urals.
Aleksander admits that designing vehicle is complicated process that requires time and patience. Not everything works at the first attempt, sometimes the result may be achieved by trial and error method. Testing of machinery under severe conditions is not a feat, it is necessary work, to identify the ability of the machinery, disadvantages and eliminate them.
Beautiful and interesting places attract Aleksandr when he travels. He remembers how during his first expedition he paved the way through bushes with a saw, pulled car out of ice and admired snow-covered firs.
“When I was offered to take part in the Transarctic Automobile Expedition, I immediately accepted the offer. Every little boy dreams of flying to the moon, diving in a submarine and visiting the North Pole. Expedition is a chance to make my childhood dream come true and test the vehicle that I have assembled.”
